My Intuos 3 has been working fine for over a year, and suddenly the pen doesn't work. I don't recall dropping it or anything when it happened; it just stopped working out of the blue. It suddenly had no pressure sensitivity-- and I mean NONE, as in it won't recognize at all when I try to press down. I can still use it to hover around the pad, but I can't get it to click anything, whether I use the click-button or if I try to double click, or drag, or press down with the pen. The light on the tablet is always blue, it's only ever green when I use the mouse to click. The mouse, touch pad, and everything else works fine. Because of that, I thought it was a problem with the pen itself. However, I JUST bought a brand new pen, with the same results. I tried resetting my tablet preferences, uninstalling my old driver, installing the newest driver; and of course before all that I also did the usual unplug/replug tablet, restart computer, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading! My Intuos 3 tablet working beautifully for 2 years. Over the last couple months the blue light flickers and often won't recognize the pen. As I fiddle around with it, sometimes it works and the green light comes on. I noticed this happened after I upgraded to Leopard 10.5 -- but I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled the new drivers as suggested on the Wacom site. But, I still have the same problem. Is this a known problem? I was beginning to be concerned there is a short or something in the cord. My Intuos 3 tablet working beautifully for 2 years.
